Brandy Tilleman
Lead Client Care Representative
Brandy has been at Lago Vista Animal Clinic since June 2013 and has been working with animals since 2005. Her favorite part of her job is being there for pets and their families, whether in an emergency situation or during routine visits. She also enjoys that we have some of the most wonderful pet parents! Brandy has five dogs, three cats, nine chickens, and four turkeys at home. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the lake, being home at the pool, fishing, having bonfires, cooking, and being with family.
Cindy Ezzell
Inventory Manager, Lead Technician
Cindy has been at Lago Vista Animal Clinic since February 1999. She previously worked at Block House Animal Hospital from 1995-1998 as a kennel technician and veterinary technician, which included duties in surgery. Cindy has attended many veterinary technician continuing education classes at Austin Community College. Her favorite part about her job is client education. She enjoys teaching clients about nutrition and what is best to feed their pets. She also enjoys teaching clients about the importance of vaccinations so their pets can live long and healthy lives. Cindy has pets of her own at home, including two German Shepherds, one Chihuahua, one cat, one turtle, and one fish. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her grandchildren, going to the lake and beach, and hiking with the dogs.
Dr. Rachel Roark
DVM
Dr. Rachel Roark started at Lago Vista Animal Clinic in February of 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Louisiana State University in 2000. Her career has included practicing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in day practice for seven years, in the emergency room for three years, and owning her own mobile practice for twelve years. Dr. Roark is a past president of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association where she previously served on the Board for six years. She recently became a certified Rescuer in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support through the Recover Initiative. She is currently a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society as well as the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband have two sons and two Russian blue cats. Outside of work, Dr. Roark enjoys spending time with her family, has a 3rd degree Blackbelt in Taekwondo, and has completed an iron distance triathlon. She has a goal to hike the entire Appalachian Trail in her lifetime.
Dr. Jennifer Baade
DVM
Dr. Jennifer Baade started at Lago Vista Animal Clinic as a relief veterinarian in 2009 and has worked here regularly since 2018. She graduated from Texas A&M University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After working in Galveston, TX, for 7 years, she moved to the greater Austin area and continued practicing small animal medicine. She has used this experience to practice compassionate and quality veterinary medicine. She loves seeing patients in all life stages, but her favorite part about being a veterinarian is the puppy/kitten visit. It may be cliché, but beyond just getting to love on the sweet babies, it is the best opportunity to start a positive relationship with them so that as they grow, we can hopefully mitigate the fear that sometimes develops with trips to the vet. It is also the best time to start working with owners on how important preventative medicine is so that we can do our best to provide a long, happy life for our pets. Dr. Jennifer Baade is owned by two Irish Wolfhounds, a Border Collie, an American Foxhound, four cats, three guinea pigs, and seven box turtles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, and doing pet therapy visits with The Dog Alliance.
Dr. Virginia Williams
DVM
Dr. Virginia Williams established Lago Vista Animal Clinic in 1994. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1983 and her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 1991. After graduating, she worked in San Antonio and Kerrville before establishing Lago Vista Animal Clinic. Dr. Virginia Williams enjoys providing quality and compassionate care to each of her patients and their owners. She and her husband have two daughters and three rescued dogs, including Jake, who can often be seen helping at the front desk. Outside of taking care of her patients and running the clinic, she enjoys hiking, bird watching, going to Big Bend, reading, sewing, and painting.
